Unlock the power

Transform how your organisation thinks, decides and acts.

What makes Dragonfly’s AI tools different?

  • Cognitive Architecture

Our AI thinks strategically, not generically. We embed structured frameworks that guide how AI processes complex problems, delivering insights that are contextually relevant and strategically sound.

  • Double-Helix Teams

We have world-class domain experts who work hand-in-hand with AI engineers. Strategic thinkers shape the intelligence; technologists make it scale. The result: AI that understands real-world complexity.

  • Augmented Intelligence

Our AI acts as your collaborative teammate—providing structured analysis for you to refine. We shift your role from directing to deciding, enabling human + AI collaboration to resolve complex problems.

The messy real world requires significant domain and application-specific reasoning that cannot efficiently be encoded in a general model. Enter cognitive architectures, or how your system thinks.

Sequoia Capital

Every AI project lives at the intersection of two forms of expertise: technical and domain. Engineers bring the tools, frameworks, and models to build intelligent systems. Domain experts bring the context, nuance, and constraints that make those systems useful in the real world.

Hypermode

Full Suite of Strategic Thinking Tools

Dragonfly Thinking provides a comprehensive suite of AI-enabled frameworks designed to guide users through complex decision-making from framing questions to executing solutions.

Dragonfly’s AI tools are grouped into three main stages; Understand, Decide, and Act, which can be used individually or combined into public or private workflows depending on the context. Our platform wiki is available here with information on all of our frameworks.

  • The first stage helps users clarify the problem and understand the broader landscape. Tools include:

    • Project Navigator– Rapidly analyse your topic and goal to determine what frameworks to apply in what order and from which perspective.

    • Multi-Perspective Analysis – Map stakeholder positions, expert insights, and broader ideological or demographic perspectives.

    • Drivers & Dynamics Tools – Use structured frameworks like RRR, SWOT, PESTLE, and systems mapping to analyse key forces and feedback loops shaping the issue.

These tools support deep sense-making by surfacing hidden patterns, trade-offs, and potential leverage points in complex environments.

  • This stage translates insight into action by helping users weigh options, navigate tensions, and build context-specific strategies. Key tools include:

    • Intervention Mapping & Policy Generators – Compare potential actions and score their system-wide effects using RRR or other frameworks.

    • Behavioural & Organisational Tools – Apply COM-B to design for behaviour change, use Positive Deviance to surface successful edge cases, and manage trade-offs with Polarity and Ecocycle analysis.

    • Strategy Frameworks – Build and refine strategic plans using tools like Playing-to-Win, Market Selection, Business Model Canvas, Porter’s Five Forces, and Jobs-to-Be-Done.

These tools ensure interventions are not only technically sound, but politically feasible, timely, and adaptive to changing contexts.

  • Dragonfly’s final stage focuses on implementation, monitoring, and strategic learning. It includes:

    • Evaluation & Review Tools – Build KPIs, map Theories of Change, and conduct gap analyses with dedicated strategy reviewers for governments and foundations.

    • Red-Team & Scenario Testing – Use Devil’s Advocate and Hydra Cell tools to stress-test strategies, simulate failure modes, and refine plans before launch.

    • Implementation Workflows – Track performance, surface early-warning signals, and adapt strategies as conditions evolve.

These modules turn strategies into executable plans and embed reflection and resilience into delivery.

Signature Framework

Risk, Reward and/or Resilience (RRR)

The Risk, Reward and/or Resilience (RRR) framework is a simple yet powerful mental model for decision making. It can be applied across policy, business and organisational domains. RRR encourages users to think holistically about complex, interconnected issues by balancing potential risks and rewards and identifying potential resilience strategies.

Dragonfly Thinking’s AI platform began by supercharging this framework into an AI enabled tool. However, while the RRR framework remains a signature offering, it is now just one of more than 40 modular tools embedded in our platform. For a deeper introduction to RRR, review the Introduction to RRR Framework page with downloadable materials (RRR info booklet) and a video explaining the model.

“Dragonfly has radically changed the way that I do strategy work with my clients. I have been using AI tools for a while, but the Dragonfly product is so much better than any of the generic LLMs. Highly recommended.”
